Caregivers must accompany their child(ren) to this event. This event is geared toward ages 1-4 years old and siblings are welcome. Registration is requested for headcount purposes. There is no cost to attend this event.

Have a friend you‘d like to invite who is not an ABFN member? They can register too! You do not need to be an ABFN member to attend this event.

Come join us for open play at Teamworks Acton. ABFN families are invited to attend an event at Teamworks in Acton on Saturday, Jan. 24th from 11:00am - 12:30pm.

Teamworks is a sport & recreation facility in Acton providing a variety of activities for the whole family, including youth programs, camps, and more.

Kids can enjoy a bounce house and toys for open play on their turf during this event. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Infant siblings in carriers are welcome to come along at no extra charge.

Ever wanted to try the pottery wheel? We’re hosting a private intro class at Art Signal Studio in Maynard on Friday, February 6th from 6–8 PM! This workshop is perfect for beginners and covers all the fundamentals of wheel throwing. You’ll even get to create up to two unique pieces to take home.

The cost is $75 per person, payable directly through the studio‘s website. Spaces are limited, so grab your spot soon! We ask that you also register on our website here so we know who is attending. This event is BYOB, so feel free to bring your favorite beverage to enjoy while you create!

ABFN Parents: Join Acton Memorial Library for an evening of conversation, dancing and merriment! They‘ll have English Country Dance lessons as well as a free dance period to practice. Dress to the nines for a chance to be named Diamond of the Season at the end of the night. Period costume is encouraged but not required. Live music, food, games, and much more will be available. IDs will be checked at the door. Reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities can be made upon request by emailing library@actonma.gov.

It‘s maple sugaring time!

In this guided program, help our farmers with the first crop of the season as you follow the trail from sap to syrup. Visit the maple grove to check the taps and taste some sap. Learn how to identify a sugar maple and compare traditional ways of making maple syrup with how it is made today. Observe maple sap being boiled down in our sugarhouse and sample maple tea and finished maple syrup.

ABFN is covering 50% of the cost
